Baggage Policy

Aeroméxico has a different baggage policy for carry and checked baggage policy. As standard, no baggage is provided free of charge. As standard, you're allowed 1 free personal item free of charge.

Equipaje de Mano

The basic and main cabin fare includes one standard piece of carry-on baggage, plus one personal item, which can be carried into the cabin. The standard baggage item and personal item each need to have the maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 25cm (21.5 in x 15.7 in x 10 in). Combined, the two items need to weigh up to a maximum of 10kg (22 lb).

The maximum combined weight of carry-on luggage for Clase Premier passengers is 18kg (39 lb). Each item must measure up to or less than 55cm x 40cm x 25cm (21.5 in x 15.7 in x 10 in).

Please note that all checked bags must measure up to the max linear dimensions of 62 inches (158 cm). For oversized bags excess baggage fees will apply.

Clase Premier Class is the name of Aeromexico's premium product, available on the 787 Dreamliner. Relax in the exclusive Salon Premier Lounge, or one of the airline's shared international lounges, before taking to the skies. The fully reclining full-bed seats are equipped with adjustable headrests, electronically adjustable lumbar support, and height-adjustable footrests. Web Check-in

For international flights, online check-in is available up to 24 hours prior to departure. For flights within Mexico, check-in is available up to 48 hours prior to departure. We check-in is available through the Aeromexico check-in webpage.

For international flights, passengers can check-in at the airport from 24-48 hours prior to departure and up to two hours prior to departure for flights within Mexico. At a number of international airports, self-service check-in kiosks at airports are available, to speed-up the airport check-in process.

Club Premier

Club Premier is the airline's free loyalty program. Passengers can sign up through the airline's webpage to start earning points when flying with Aeromexico or a Skyteam alliance airline. Be sure to collect your points when you book your Aeromexico flights through Alternative Airlines, it is easy to select 'Club Premier' from the drop-down option during the booking process, then simply add your personal membership number and gain your points.

Skyteam

Aeromexico is a member of Skyteam, one of the largest airline alliances, allowing passengers to reach 1057 destinations all over the world. Under the alliance, passengers can earn miles across the 19 airlines in the program, and enjoy extra benefits such as greater lounge access.

Delta Air Lines

Aeromexico has a special codeshare partnership with Delta Air Lines. Together, the airlines operate over 1,000 weekly flights between the U.S. and Latin America. Passengers can also benefit from the interchangeable accrual of benefits and Elite membership status when travelling on one of the two airlines. Under the codeshare partnership, a flight ticked might be owned and issued by one airline, but the actual flight will be operated by the other.

GoGo Entertainment App

Passengers can download the airline's free app before flying, to stream a fantastic collection of TV shows and films via personal digital devices such as mobiles or tablets.

Wi-Fi

The airline's fleet of 737-800 aircraft are the first in the world with 2Ku, the world's fastest onboard internet service powered by GoGo Inc. The airline's Dreamliners have Panasonic broadband internet on board, which enable film and video streaming on personal digital devices.

Free Messaging

The airline provides a free messaging service, which allows passengers to send texts and connect to WiFi which allows messaging through iMessage, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp. But note that this service is only currently available on flights with onboard WiFi, such as select 737-800s and 787 flights.

Aeroméxico offers food and drink that is available to purchase once onboard your flight. Special meals are also available to pre-purchase before your flight.

Aeromexico Meal Options

The airline provides their passengers with menus and meals for a truly unforgettable flying experience. For flights 3 hours or less, passengers are offered items from the bakery, nuts, cookies and other snacks. For flights between 3 and 6 hours in length, passengers will enjoy a full warm meal.

Special Dietary Requirements

On International flights, and medium-to-long-haul flights where the duration is long enough to include a meal service, passengers can pre-order a special meal to meet their special dietary requirements. These meals must be ordered at least 48 hours prior to departure. This can be done at the time of booking, or by contacting our customer service team.
