About Air Alderney
Air Alderney is an airline that serves the island of Alderney, the northernmost part of the inhabited Channel Islands. The airline was first founded in enero 2017 but didn't commence its services until febrero 2022. Air Alderney launched with charter operations but there have been plans to expand its services and provide passengers with scheduled services later on in the year. The charter flights are currently between Alderney, Biggin Hill, Shoreham-By-Sea, Lydd, Guernsey and Jersey.

All passengers on board an Air Alderney flight are allowed a 15kg bag as part of their fare. For any baggage that weighs more than 15kg, passengers will be charged £4 extra per kilo. The maximum weight for any bag onboard an Air Alderney flight is 23kg due to the size and weight of the plane.
Currently, Air Alderney doesn't accept:

Carry On Baggage
When flying with Air Alderney, passengers are entitled to one piece of carry-on baggage that weighs no more than 5kg. The bag must be no bigger than 35cm x 25cm x 20cm (13 x 9 x 7in).

Air Alderney operates a fleet of Britten-Norman BN2B-26 Islanders, currently, there are 2 in operation. There is also 1 Britten-Norman BN2A MkIII Trislander on order for late 2022.

Biggin Hill Airport
London Biggin Hill airport is located in south-east London. It's an operational general aviation airport that was once used by the Royal Airforce. Air Alderney are the only airline that are using Biggin Hill airport as part of its services.
Alderney Airport
Alderney airport is the only one on the island and was the first airport ever to be built in the Channel Islands. The airport has 3 runways, the main one that's made up of asphalt and 2 others that are grass. Alderney airport is the hub airport for Air Alderney.
