Air Arabia Egypt (العربية للطيران مصر‎) is a low-cost airline based in Egypt and a subsidiary of the Air Arabia airline group. The head office is in King Mariout in Alexandria. After securing it's operating license from the authorities in 2010, the airline began commercial operations on 1 junio 2010. The airline is based at Alexandria's Borg el Arab Airport.

The idea behind the creation of Air Arabia Egypt was to boost tourism in the region and expand the Air Arabia network. Other subsidiaries of Air Arabia include Air Arabia Maroc , Air Arabia Jordan and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi.

Air Arabia offers passengers the opportunity to only pay for the baggage you need. Passengers can select checked baggage weight while booking or modifying your flight (20 Kg, 30 Kg or 40 Kg) with no limitation on the number of pieces. Pre-book baggage allowance and save up to 90% of baggage charges paid at the airport. The only baggage allowance available for purchase at the airport is 20 Kg, additional weight will be subject to excess baggage rates.

Air Arabia offers carry-on baggage allowance of 10 kg. Carry-on baggage allowance per passenger must not exceed the mentioned weight and dimensions should not exceed 55cm x 40cm x 20cm (22in x 16in x 8in), including the handle, pockets and wheels. Infants under two years old are entitled to one standard-sized bag (for items an infant may require during the flight).
