Air Côte d'Ivoire is the national flag carrier of Côte d'Ivoire, otherwise known as Ivory Coast, a country in West Africa. The airline flies to 18 African capitals throughout Africa. The airline was founded in May 2012 and became the flag carrier as the former flagship went bankrupt in 2011. The airline's key shareholders are Government of Ivory Coast, Air France-KLM, Golden Road and other investors.

All passengers are entitled to cabin baggage allowance. The dimensions of your cabin bag must not exceed 56cm in length, 45cm in-depth, and 25cm in width. The total weight of your cabin bag must not exceed 10kg on all flights.
Economy: On the airline's home network, passengers can check-in 23kg of luggage, and 40kg on the airline's regional network.
Business: On the airline's home network, passengers can check-in 30kg of luggage, and 50kg on the airline's regional network.
Fees will need to be paid at the airport if baggage exceeds the allowance. The rate applied depends on destination.
Air Cote D'Ivoire's Economy Class 'Class Ivoire' is one of two cabin classes that the airline offers. The comfortable seats provide extra legroom and excellent onboard facilities.
Customers flying Economy Class are given a free baggage allowance of 30kg.
To pass the time, passengers can shop on-board, and browse the airline's selection of quality products, including traditional Ivorian gifts.
In-flight, customers can enjoy delicious hot meals and other hot and cold snacks from the airline's in-flight menu, as well as a selection of drinks.
The comfortable seats are set out in a 3 x 3 formation in Economy.
Business Class is the Air Côte d'Ivoire's most upscale cabin class, with the highest standard of service provided. Enjoy world-class in-flight amenities and divine exotic catering.
Business Class passengers are given a free baggage allowance of 40kg and priority baggage handling.
Passengers with a Business Class ticket are given also given priority boarding and disembarkation.
In-flight each passenger is given a personalised service, which is delivered by the airline's expertly trained cabin crew. There is a personal screen above each fitted to each seat with an audio outlet.
Passengers are treated to food and drink from the airline's VIP menu.
The 12 leather Business Class seats are set out in a 2 x 2 formation, as to give each customer extra space and luxury.
Economy Class: On-board entertainment options depend on aircraft and route. On some flights, there is a custom screen above passenger's seat, with an audio outlet fitted to the seat. Passengers are encouraged to download entertainment onto their person digital devices before flying.
Business Class: Each seat is fitted with a personal screen and an audio outlet.
Free food and drinks are available onboard and passengers can find the menu on board.
Some of the airline's aircraft have WiFi equipped, which allows you to connect to the internet, send text messages and make a phone call.
Online check-in is available on the airline website. You can online check-in in by clicking on the check-in tab on the flight search box.
Airport check-in desk opens at least 3 hours before scheduled departure for all flights. It is recommended to confirm the check-in times suggested by the airport you will be departing from.
Air Côte d'Ivoire's frequent flyer programme is called sMiles. Passengers can join the programme for free and you can earn miles every time when you purchase a ticket with the airline. The number of miles earned per flight depends on the distance of the flight, the cabin class and the tariff that has been paid for.
The sMiles program is free to join and entitles members to earn a welcome bonus of 1,000 miles and a further 1,00 miles for any online membership. You can join up through the airline’s website.

Air Côte d'Ivoire has had a codeshare agreement with Ethiopian Airlines since May 2018, aimed at increasing connectivity from the US. Through this partnership, New York is served by a thrice weekly direct flight from Abidjan airport, operated by Ethiopian Airlines. You can read more about codeshare partnerships here.

Port Bouet Airport (ABJ), otherwise known as Félix Houphouët Boigny International Airport, is the main hub airport of Air Cote d'Ivoire and is the largest airport in the country. Other airlines which fly to and from this airport include Air Algerie, Air Burkina, Air France, Arik Air, Brussels Airlines, EgyptAir, Kenya Airways, South African Airways, Tunisair, Turkish Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines.
In 2016, the airport handled 1.8 million passengers, 300 thousands more passengers than in 2015.

Infants, up to 2 years of age, can travel on the lap of an adult and benefit from a 90% discount on the applicable rate.
A child, up to 11 years old, will need to be accompanied by an adult. Children receive a discount of up to 25% off the applicable adult’s rate. Children’s meals can be applied for up to 48 hours before departure. Our customer service team can help you arrange this.
Pets are welcome in the aircraft cabin, as long as they are housed in a secure container (bag or cage), which must measure up to 55x40x23cm (L x D x H) - the total weight must not exceed 5kg. Passengers carrying pets are charged a flat fee of 15.000 XOF ($0.025USD). If you wish to fly with your pet, the airline will need to be informed at the time of booking.
