The airline was based at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai (BOM) and offered domestic flights throughout India. Passengers were not allowed a suitcase or large bag as carry-on baggage. However, they were allowed to bring a small personal item with them, such as a handbag, briefcase, laptop and case, diaper bag, small backpack or small duffel bag.
The small personal item must fit within the dimensions of 38 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm (15" x 12" x 12") and can't weigh more than 4 kg. There are no overhead lockers on Air Deccan flights, so the baggage must be able to fit under the seat in front of you.
