Historia

Air Litanica was a Lithuanian airline headquartered in Vilnius and based at Vilnius Airport.

Air Lituanica was founded in mayo 2013 and announced Brussels as its first flight destination. Flights could be booked through Estonian Air's site and in junio 2013 the airline received its air operator's certificate. In abril 2014, Air Lituanica announced that it would begin flights to Gothenburg and Malmo.

The Vilnius city government owned the majority stake in the airline but a group of individual private investors also held a stake in Air Lituanica. Around 17% of the ownership belonged to 10+ private investors.

Air Lituanica ceased its operations in marzo 2015. and in junio 2015 the airline filed for bankruptcy.

Air Lituanica online check-in opened 24 hours prior to the flight departure time and closed 2 hours before the scheduled flight departure time. Boarding passes should have been printed or saved on your mobile devices.
