Air Mediterranean, also known as Air Med, is a Greek Airline based at Athens, Greece. The airline flies domestic charter flights between Greece and Cyprus.
The airline previously offered scheduled passenger flights to several destinations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including London, Erbil, Baghdad, Casablanca, Istanbul, Freetown, Frankfurt, Hargeisa, Lagos, Kuwait, Larnaca, Najaf, Mogadishu, Jeddah, Khartoum, London, Stockholm. The airline will soon fly to Abu Dhabi, Algeria, Amsterdam, Beirut, Baku and Tehran.
The airline was founded in enero 2017 and obtained the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) under the Helenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) in accordance with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Regulation. It ran as scheduled and charter airline up until the beginning of 2018 when it made the decision to stop all scheduled flight and fly charter only.
