Air Senegal is the new national airline and flag-carrier for Senegal, created in 2016 to replace bankrupt carrier Senegal Airlines.
The airline has aimed to become the leader in West African air transport and serve both domestic and international routes. The Senegal airline is based at Blaise Diagne International Airport .

Checked baggage cannot be heavier than 23kg. For domestic flights, passengers are entitled to one baggage. For international flights, passengers can check-in with two pieces of baggage. However, passengers flying to and from Abidjan and Cotonou are only allowed with two baggage without weighing over 20kg per bag.
The Airbus A330neo aircraft will be equipped with wifi connectivity. The aircraft will be deployed on routes from West Africa to Europe.

Airport Check-in is available for all passengers, who must check in to register their attendance for flights. To do so, visit the Air Senegal check-in desk. Ensure you arrive at the airport with plenty of time to ensure you can complete check-in and security checks.
Airport check-in closes 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure time whereas flights to Paris, airport check-in closes 1.5 hours before the scheduled departure time.
The Senegalese airline does not offer a frequent flyer programme.
Air Senegal is not a member of any airline alliance.

The Blaise Diagne International Airport is an international airport near Diass in Senegal. Replacing the older and smaller Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport, this airport serves destinations across Africa, but also Europe, Macaronesia, the Middle East and the USA.
The airport is the hub for Air Senegal, but also operates services for many airlines including Transair, Mauritania Airlines, Goldstar Air, ASKY Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines.
