Par Avion is the commercial name of Airlines of Tasmania, a regional airline based in Hobart, the capital of Tasmania - an island state of Australia. From its base at Cambridge Airport, in Hobart, the airline operates scheduled passenger services to a number of locations across Tasmania. As well as scheduled passenger flights, the airline is also available for private charter, and operates a range of business, scenic and leisure flights into the Southwest National Park of Tasmania.
Airlines of Tasmania was originally founded in 1977, along with Par Avion, which was a different branding of the airline and used for chartered flights and sightseeing tours. For over three decades, the airline has been operating as Tasmania’s primary transport airline.
