About AirZena Georgian

AirZena Georgian was the previous name for Georgian Airways, the privately-owned flag carrier of Georgia. The airline is based in Tsibili, connecting this capital city with Europe and Asia. The company now operates scheduled flights from Tbilisi to the following destinations: Vienna, Amsterdam, Batumi, Moscow and Tel Aviv. Georgian Airways now flies to destinations including Tbilisi, Paris, Saint-Petersburg and Odessa. Georgian Airways (previously AirZena Georgian) has plane-sharing agreements with Austrian Airlines via Vienna and KLM for flights via Amsterdam.  Their fleet is constantly adapting and changing but currently includes B737-500, B737-700, Bombardier CRJ100ER and CRJ200LR. In 2010 the company became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The airline "Airzena", as it was then known, was founded in septiembre 1993. Initially, the airline operated charter flights to the United Arab Emirates, Italy, China, Egypt, India, Syria, and also regular flights to Austria. In agosto 2014, the name Airzena was replaced by Georgian Airways.
