Allegiant hopes that renewed focus on underserved routes will help it come through coronavirus strong

Allegiant Air, a Las Vegas-based carrier, primarily operates routes to secondary destinations, which are not otherwise served by any other carriers. The airline has commented that such focus on underserved routes, the most popular travel days of the week for travel, and appealing to cost-conscious leisure travellers will be key to coming through the coronavirus strong. Most of Allegiant's flights are to/from the most popular vacation destinations in Florida, as well as the southeast of the USA, and the western sun states of California, Nevada and Arizona. As travel resumes post-coronavirus, the airline should be set to thrive as more and more U.S. citizens choose not to fly abroad but discover what America has to offer.
