Allegiant Air has recently announced 8 new non-stop routes for summer 2023. The airline aims to fly to domestic destinations in the USA including Allentown, Asheville, Lexington, Provo, Appleton, Omaha, Akron and Sioux Falls. Four of these routes will be permanent and operated twice a week - the remaining routes will be seasonal.
12th April 2021
Las Vegas-based Allegiant is adding 34 new nonstop routes to its summer schedule. This network expansion comes as the airline seeks to benefit from the increased demand for travel to US domestic leisure destinations - a market which has seen the most increase following Coronavirus restrictions. As the summer season approaches, the airline expects this demand to increase due to further limitations on international travel.
7th January 2021
Allegiant Air, a Las Vegas-based carrier, primarily operates routes to secondary destinations, which are not otherwise served by any other carriers. The airline has commented that such focus on underserved routes, the most popular travel days of the week for travel, and appealing to cost-conscious leisure travellers will be key to coming through the coronavirus strong. Most of Allegiant's flights are to/from the most popular vacation destinations in Florida, as well as the southeast of the USA, and the western sun states of California, Nevada and Arizona. As travel resumes post-coronavirus, the airline should be set to thrive as more and more U.S. citizens choose not to fly abroad but discover what America has to offer.
8th September 2020
On the 27th August 2020, Allegiant announced seven new nonstop routes, including three new routes to Florida and two to Palm Springs, California. The airline has stated that prices will be the most competitive yet, as low as $29.00 each way.
Allegiant will also be extending its seasonal route connecting Nashville, Tennessee and Bozeman, Montana. These are popular routes for travellers looking to take advantage of America’s great outdoors, including Yellowstone National Park.
