Stockholm Arlanda Airport is a major airport in Sweden's capital, Stockholm and the main gateway into the country. Arlanda Airport facilitates international flights across Europe, Asia, North America and parts of Africa, as well as domestic flights within Sweden.
The airport is a primary hub for TUI fly Nordic and a secondary hub for both Norwegian Air and Scandinavian Airlines.
Arlanda Airport opened for commercial flights in 1960. It's one of two airports in Stockholm, alongside Stockholm–Bromma, which is much smaller and less busy than Arlanda.
The airport code for Stockholm Arlanda Airport is ARN.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport is located north of Stockholm's city centre (Old Town). It usually takes around 40 minutes to drive to the airport from the city centre. However, it can take longer at busier times.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport has a range of facilities spread across its four terminals, including a selection of airport lounges.
*Available for passengers departing from Terminal 2 and arriving at Terminal 2 on Schengen flights*

There are no preferred runways at Arlanda Airport. There are usually only two runways used at one time, which results in one being inactive. Which runways are active and inactive at any given time entirely depends on the strength and direction of the wind.
There are four terminals at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, each numbered 2–5, as a result of Terminal 1 no longer existing.
Terminal 2, which is south of the airport, is one of two international terminals. The terminal is exclusively used for international flights on carriers such as Aeroflot, British Airways, easyJet, Iberia and intercontinental flights on United Airlines.
The terminal was one of the smaller terminals at the airport until 2013 when it was expanded with an additional floor level.
Terminal 3 is a regional domestic terminal. It mainly facilitates flights from airlines flying short domestic flights around Sweden, such as Nordica, Air Leap and NyxAir, as well as LOT Polish Airlines.
Terminal 4 is a domestic terminal that is used by both Norwegian and SAS Scandinavian Airlines. The terminal is located in the south of the airport.
Terminal 5 is the largest and newest terminal at the airport. The airport is used exclusively for international flights, with airlines such as UIA, Wings of Lebanon, Qatar Airways and Icelandair flying to/from the airport.
