About Armenia Airways
Armenia Airways is a start-up airline which was founded in 2013.
Based in Yerevan, Armenia was set to initiate operations in 2018 but pushed back its launch to mid 2019. In julio 2019, the airline operated its first flight and has started a weekly service between two destinations within Armenia.
The airline is expected to operate scheduled flights to both long-haul and short-haul destinations.
Armenia Airways has acquired aircraft from other airlines, such as a A310-300 previously owned by Tarom. The airline has its base at Yerevan Zvartnos International Airport
Destinos
As of junio 2019, the airline will operate a weekly round service between Yerevan and Tehran, in Armenia.
Flights will take place on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline plans on making this a daily route in the future.
Equipaje permitido

Passengers are entitled to one 5kg hand baggage and it must fit in the overhead lockers or under the seat when passengers are onboard. No prohibited items are allowed onboard including any liquid exceeding 100ml. Any prohibited items found by airport security would be confiscated.
Equipaje Facturado
Each fare-paying passenger is entitled to one 20kg baggage with a maximum total dimension of 158cm. Any baggage exceeding the limit would not be accepted by the airline as checked baggage due to international health and safety regulations.

Airport check-in counters open three hours before and close 40 minutes before the established flight departure time. When passengers arrive at the airport, they should report to the airport check-in counter as soon as possible. Passengers should arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure.
Any passengers failed to report to the check-in counters on-time may lose their flight ticket.

Zvartnos International Airport
Zvartnos International Airport is an airport based in Armenia, near the city of Zvartnos, near Yerevan. It is the main international airport in the country, and as a result, is the busiest airport in the country. The airport was first opened in 1961, and in 2018 it saw 6.69 million passengers walk through its doors.
This airport is also the hub for Armenia Aircompany and Atlantic Armenian Airlines. A number of other airlines also operate services from this airport, including Mahan Air, S7 Airlines, Air France, LOT Polish Airlines and flydubai.
