Historia

Bahrain Air was an airline based at Bahrain International Airport.

The airline was the first privately owned national carrier of Bahrain. The first flight took off from Bahrain to the city of Dubai on 3 febrero 2008. Bahrain Air operated to more than 18 destinations from Bahrain, with an average frequency of 112 flights a week.

Bahrain Air had its own in-flight magazine, called Reesha and changed its operating mode to full service by early 2010. Different types of fares were offered including Business Premium Class, Flex Fares in Economy Class with Value Fare, Easy Fare and Smart Fare.


Destinos

The airline flew to 18 destinations in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. In earlier statements, the airline planned to increase its destinations to 23 cities by 2009 and up to 25 cities by 2010.

Bahrain International Airport

Bahrain International Airport is the premier hub airport in the Middle East. Strategically located in the Northern Gulf between the major markets of Saudi Arabia and Iran, the airport has the widest range and frequency of regional services with ideal connections to major international destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Far East and Australia.

The airport is now a hub for Bahrain’s national airline Gulf Air, and also Kalitta Air, SNAN and Swiftair Bahrain.
