Belavia, or Belavia Belarusian Airlines, is the national airline of Belarus and is headquartered in Minsk, Belarus. The airline flies to more than 50 destinations across Europe and Asia, with a particular focus on Russia, Ukraine and other Eastern European countries.
The airline launched in 1996. In its first years of flying, the airline flew to major destinations across Europe such as London, Paris, Rome and more, as well as offering an intercontinental service to Beijing. Over the years, the airline has expanded and refined its flight offering and today is in the leading position in passenger air transportation in the Belarusian market.
As well as scheduled destinations, the airline operates charter flights to leisure destinations and VIP charters.

The airline allows its passengers 1 piece of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 8kg and a maximum allowable size of 50 x 40 x 20cm and a maximum weight of 12kg in business class
The airline allows its passengers one piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 20kg for economy and 30kg for Premium-Economy and Business Class passengers.
The airline offers two class fares: Business and Economy.
Within Economy there are a range of class fares available, which determines additional facilities and whether options (such as whether the ticket is available, as well as baggage allowance) are available. Passengers can check-in online for their Belavia flights between 24 hours to 2 hours before their scheduled departure time.
Passengers can also check-in for their flights at the airport. To do so, visit the check-in counter and check-in with the staff.
Additionally, passengers can check-in at the airport by visiting the self-check-in kiosk. This service will open 22 hours before flying, and close 1 hour prior to scheduled departure time.
There's no in-flight entertainment system installed on Belavia flights, however, the airline does have an in-flight magazine that each passenger is given a copy of to read during the flight. The airline in-flight magazine is named OnAir and has a new issue released each month.
Complimentary snacks and drinks are served on all flights, with hot meals served on select flights with longer journey times.
Belavia operates Belavia Leader, the award program developed for its airline customers. Belavia Leader program offers its members the opportunity of earning points on their membership accounts for travel on regular scheduled flights or using program partner's services.
Belavia has codeshare agreements with Air Baltic, Air France, Austrian Airlines, Czech Airlines, Etihad, Finnair, KLM, LOT-Polish Airlines, Ukraine International Airlines and S7. The airline has an interline agreement with many airlines including Adria Airways, Air Astana, Air Baltic, Atlasglobal, Delta Air Lines, Egyptair, EL AL, Ural Airlines, TAROM, Severstal, Motor Sich Airlines and many others.
Belavia's fleet consists of a mix of Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft. Overall, the airline has over 30 aircraft within its fleet, with models from the B737 and E-Jet families.
