Belle Air, from Tirana in Albania, has ceased operations, blaming the general economic situation.
Belle Air Flights
Belle Air provided a low cost operation from it’s HQ in Tirana, Albania and flew to nineteen airports in Italy as well as Liege, Prishtina, Sharm el Sheikh, Tel Aviv and Antalya. Belle Air was established in mayo 2005 in and in marzo 20 the first flight took off from Tirana thus becoming Albania’s first low cost airline.The airline's goal was to increase market share on routes that link the North-West of Europe with the region South-East of the Balkans with Albania and Kosovo.
The airlines main routes were to Italy and flights operated to most major business and holiday destinations. Belle Air customers benefited from a free checked baggage allowance of 15 kgs but like all no frills airlines food and drinks were extra.
