Breeze Airways is an airline based in the United States. The airline focuses on providing flights between mid-sized US destinations that were not previously connected with direct flights. The airline only flies in the US and currently offers flights to destinations in the Midsouth, Southeast and Northeast of the country. At the moment, Breeze flies to over 15 destinations. But, in the long-term, the airlines plans to fly more than 500 routes. One of the airline's main goals is to provide low-fare, high-quality service to its customers.
Breeze launched flights in May 2021. The airline offers point-to-point flights, which means that, unlike many airlines, it isn't based at a particular airport and will fly a smaller number of routes between several different airports. The airline launched with 39 nonstop routes across 16 different cities within the US and its first service flying between Charleston and Tampa.
All of its crew is trained at its headquarters in Utah but after training, several different crews were stationed at other airports, such as Charleston - South Carolina, New Orleans - Louisana, Norfolk - Virginia and Tampa - Florida.
JetBlue's founder David Neeleman created Breeze Airways in 2018, which is the fifth airline that he launched. The airline was originally branded as Moxy Airways, before changing to Breeze Airways due to trademark issues. The airline primarily focuses on flying underserved routes that are not flown by existing US carriers. Once its domestic route network has fully rolled out, the airline is also considering launching low-cost, long-haul flights to destinations in South America and to Europe.
The airline was originally supposed to launch in 2020 after acquiring Compass Airlines. However, the Compass Airlines acquisition never went through and due to the coronavirus pandemic, the launch was pushed back. Its official launch was in May 2021, with flight tickets going on sale just weeks before the first flight.
Breeze Airways is a new startup carrier and has only just launched flights.

Breeze launched operations in the US with its Embraer E190/195 aircraft. However, the airline also has 60 Airbus A220-300s on order, which may become the airline's primary aircraft. The A220 has a range of 3,400 nautical miles, meaning it could easily operate flights to transatlantic cities. Although plans to operate flights to Europe have yet to be finalised, these aircraft would be perfect for operating flights to the UK and other cities in Europe.

Breeze Airways, a new startup U.S. airline, has plans to connect secondary markets that have been neglected by other U.S. carriers. The carrier was approved by the US Transportation Department to begin operations in March 2021, following delays as a result of COVID-19. The airline now hopes to begin operations in the summer of 2021. Airports have yet to be confirmed, but the airline has outlined plans to begin scheduled flights from an unnamed south-eastern airport to four destinations in the northeast.
