Bulgarian Eagle was the subsidiary of Germania, and was founded in 2016. The airline was initially existed as an ACMI carrier to boost Germania's presence in the wet-lease market. In 2017, it gained an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) until it ended operations in 2019.
Bulgaria Eagle's fleet consisted of an Airbus A319, which was situated at London Gatwick International Airport (LGW).

Germania will launch flats to Karpathos
Germania, the parent company of Bulgarian Eagle, have commenced operations from the Greek island of Karpathos to Dusseldorf. The new route is part of a major network extension for the airline, which already offers an extensive array of flights to Greece from Dusseldorf. Greece is a very popular destination for German holidaymakers and The Mediterranean paradise is back fully on the tourist trail, as it welcomed almost 10% more visitors in 2017 than in the previous year. The new flight will depart from Dusseldorf to Karpathos every week, along with a weekly service to Crete, Lesbos and Zakynthos, as well as two flights a week to Samos. Together with Bulgarian Eagle and the Swiss airline Germania Flug, Germania’s fleet will include up to 37 aircraft in a matter of months.
