The Canary Islands is a Spanish archipelago consisting of eight main islands. Five of the main islands are served by regular scheduled flights operated by a number of Europe-based airlines, including low-cost carriers including easyJet and Ryanair. These five islands are:

Teneriffe

Fuerteventura

Gran Canaria

Lanzarote

La Palma

From these larger islands, a connecting flight can then be caught to one of the archipelago’s three smaller main islands:

La Gomera

El Hierro

La Graciosa

There are also a number of much smaller islands and inlets in the archipelago, including Alegranza, Isla de Lobos, Montana Clara, Roque del Oeste, and Roque del Este.

The two busiest international airports on the islands are Tenerife South Airport (TFS), on the largest island of Tenerife, and Gran Canaria Airport (LPA), on the third largest island of Gran Canaria.
