Cascadia Air is a new commuter airline, operating passenger flights between airports within the Vancouver and Lower Mainland Area of the Canadian province of British Columbia. As well as offering charter flights, the airline also operates a small number of scheduled passenger flights.
Cascadia Air is owned and operated by Cascadia Northern Air Inc. Established in 2019, the airline was initially forced to delay its launch in marzo 2020 as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. Today, the airline operates commuter flights between business hubs within British Columbia, as well as operating flights popular with tourists and skiers. Destinations include: Abbotsford, Campbell River and Chilliwack.
In septiembre 2021, the growing airline announced that it would be expanding its route network further, with flights between Vancouver and Penticton. The airline also has plans to introduce more routes in 2022.

Cascadia Air has different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.
Each passenger can carry one 'small' bag into the cabin of the aircraft. This small bag must not exceed the following dimensions: 21 x 14 x 9 inches (53 x 36 x 23 cm). In addition to this one carry-on bag, each passenger can also bring one personal item into the cabin (such as a small purse, iPad, e-reader, or camera).
Due to the size and weight restrictions of Air Cascadia's aircraft, each passenger can only check-in one 'medium' sized bag. This bag must not exceed the following dimensions: 24 x 20 x 12 inches (61 x 50 x 31 cm).
Passengers can enjoy a premium and VIP travel experience when flying with Cascadia Air. Although small, the modern cabin space is comfortable and has plenty of storage space for personal processions. During the short flights, passengers can enjoy stunning views of the landscape below.
During the flight, services will be limited. Passengers are encouraged to make the most of the facilities available at the airport before departure.
The airline has a private lounge available exclusively for Cascadia Air passengers at some airports. Lounge facilities include free Wifi, charging stations, and complimentary beverages and snacks.
Cascadia Air allows is passengers to check in online and at the airport.
Online check-in is available and can be completed through the airline's website.
Passengers should arrive at the airport with sufficient time to complete check-in and security clearance. The airline recommends completing check-in 45 minutes prior to departure. Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure.
The airline does not currently offer a frequent flyer program.
The airline is not currently part of an airline alliance program.
The airline operates regional flights between the business hub of Vancouver and other cities or tourist destinations within British Columbia. Scheduled passenger destinations include: Abbotsford, Campbell River, and Chilliwack. A full list of destinations can be found in the following table:

The airline has its base at Penticton Regional Airport (YYF). From Penticton, the airline operates direct scheduled passenger flights to Vancouver. The route to Vancouver International Airport is also served by Pacific Coastal Airlines and Air Canada Express. WestJet Encore operates from Penticton to Calgary and Edmonton.
The airline operates twin piston Piper PA31-350s and PA 32-260 aircraft. Although there can be capacity for 8-9 passengers, these aircraft are currently accommodating up to 6 passengers per flight, to comply with Covid-19 social distancing restrictions.

Cascadia Air, the small regional Canadian startup has recently announced new non-stop scheduled flights between Vancouver and Penticton. The airline will operate this route using its Piper PA31-350s. To accommodate social distancing as COVID-19 restrictions continue to apply, its aircraft are currently spaced to accomodate up to a maximum of six passengers. More routes are planned to be added to the airline's route network in 2022.
