About Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (IATA: CVG), is an international airport located near Hebron in Kentucky, U.S, and serving the Greater Cincinnati area.
Although the airport offers a great variety of non-stop passenger services to 63 destinations in North America and Europe, the airport is also known for its cargo services, being one of the fastest-growing cargo airports in all of North America and the 4th in North American for total cargo operations. The airlines that are hubbed here are both cargo airlines; Amazon Air and DHL Aviation.
The idea for the airport was first developed in 1942, with the airfield first opened in 1944 for use with the United States Army Air Corps using the airport. It wasn't until 1946 that the first terminal building was opened, allowing for commercial flights to operate in 1947.
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Location
The airport is located south of the Ohio River, just below the Kentucky/Ohio border. It is located South West of Cincinnati, about 12.4 miles from downtown Cincinnati. Its exact location can be seen on the map below:

Terminals
The Main Terminal
This terminal is currently the only operational terminal in CVG Airport, so houses the ticketing, security, shopping areas and other facilities in the airport. There is two concourses in this airport, with Concourse A housing Air Canada, Allegiant Air, Frontier, Southwest and United. Concourse B is used for international arrivals and houses American and Delta Air Lines, as well as the US Customs and Border Protection facility.

How to get to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International
By Road
If you are coming from Cincinnati, you can access the airport by driving south on I-71 or I-75 and taking exit 185. From the West, follow the I-74 to the I-275 circle freeway to Exit 4. From the south, take the I-71 or I-75 followed by the I-275 to Exit 4B.
By Public Transport
The Airporter is a local bus service that offers cheap and fast transport between the airport, downtown Cincinnati and downtown Covington.
By Rental Car
There are a number of national rental car companies for you to choose from, including Alamo, Acis, Enterprise and Hertz. There is a shuttle bus which operates free transport between the airport and the car rental locations.
