Cocco Bahama Seaplanes (COCO) is a new domestic airline based in the Bahamas, a country in the Caribbean which consists of over 700 islands. COCO hopes to increase access to the stunning islands of the Bahamas, allowing travellers to experience the secluded paradise that the islands have to offer.
The airline is being established by Kamalame Cay, a high-end private island resort off the central coast of Andros Island. The airline will be working closely with both independent and multinational hotels and resorts to create a route network that benefits tourists.
Coco Bahama Seaplanes will be the first year-round airline to operate in the Bahamas in over half a century. The airline has chosen to use seaplanes so that COCO can fly directly to island harbours.
