About Copenhagen AirTaxi

Copenhagen AirTaxi (otherwise known by its abbreviated name, CAT) was founded in 1961 and is an aviation company, based in Roskilde, Denmark. The company operates a successful flight school, as well as providing a range of other services, including airfield management and operating sightseeing tours and a major private air-taxi service across Denmark.

The airline also operates regular scheduled commercial passenger flights from Copenhagen Airport, Roskilde, to the Danish islands of Anholt and Læsø. It would also be operating flights on behalf of Airseven.

The company is based at Copenhagen Roskilde Airport (IATA: RKE), where it has extensive modern facilities, including its large flight school, which trains the next generation of professional pilots in Denmark, as well as a maintenance facility.

Destinos

Privately, the airline provides air-taxi services across an extensive network in Denmark, and in 2017, thanks to its acquisition of a Pilatus PC-12 business aircraft, is able to fly further afield to destinations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

For scheduled commercial passenger flights, the airline operates a single route, flying from Roskilde (RKE) to the following islands: Anholt (IATA unavailable), and Læsø (IATA: BYR).

Flight Schedule

The Anholt / Læsø route operates up to 40 flights per week, depending on the season. The flight to Anholt takes about 35-45 minutes and to Laesoe, about 55-75 minutes.
