Fiji Airways is the flag carrier of Fiji and is based at Nadi International Airport (NAN). The airline offer flights to more than 20 destinations across Oceania, Asia and North America. However, through codeshare agreements, it offers flights to over 100 destinations.
The airline launched under the name Fiji Airways in 1947 and became the country's first international airline. In 1958, the airline was acquired by Qantas and renamed and rebranded as Air Pacific. Years later, the government bought a majority stake in the airline, acquiring 52% and leaving Qantas with a 46% stake.
In 2013, the airline rebranded from Air Pacific back to Fiji Airways and has been operating with Fiji Airways branding ever since.
Fiji Airways has a regional subsidiary, Fiji Link, which offers flights to various destinations in Fiji, Tonga, Tuvalu, Samoa and Vanuatu.

Passengers in Economy Class are entitled to one item of free carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 7kg. This baggage must not exceed the dimensions of 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm (55" x 15.7" x 9").
Passengers in Business Class are entitled to two items of free carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 7kg per piece. This baggage must not exceed the dimensions of 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm (22" x 17.7" x 9.8").

Passengers have the option to check-in online for their flight. This service opens 24 hours before flight departure time and closes four hours before. Online check-in is available through the Fiji Airways online check-in page and can be completed by using the e-ticket number/booking reference provided by the airline.
For passengers who have not checked-in online, they can do so at the airport.
For international flights, passengers can check-in between three hours and one hour before departure.
For domestic flights, the check-in desk is open between 90 minutes and 30 minutes before departure.
Economy Class offers a relaxed and comfortable cabin, with the airline's friendly cabin crew available to help and assist with anything that passengers might need.
Passengers can order a range of food from the airline's in-flight menu and have access to the in-flight entertainment, with a selection of films, TV shows and music to enjoy.
Economy Class seats are set out in a 3 x 3 configuration on short-haul flights and a 2 x 4 x 2 configuration on medium-haul and long-haul flights. Each seat gives around 73–81 cm of seat pitch (29–32").
The Business Class cabin is Fiji Airways premium cabin class, perfect for those who are looking for a little luxury while in the air.
All Business Class passengers are offered a unique and exclusive service, including dedicated check-in, increased baggage allowance, express airport lanes and access to lounge facilities at selected airports. Once in-flight, Business Class passengers can enjoy three-course fine dining, a range of fine wines, spirits, liqueurs and a selection of cheeses.
With personal TV monitors, Business Class passengers can also enjoy can the full range from the airline's in-flight entertainment.
Business Class seats are set out in a 2 x 2 configuration on flights operated by narrow body planes (short-haul) and a 2 x 2 x 2 configuration on flights operated by wide body planes (long-haul). Each seat gives 152 m of pitch (60").
All guests can enjoy the complimentary in-flight entertainment on international flights. Customers can enjoy a selection of movies and TV programs from Fijian classics to hilarious new American comedies. In addition, there's a range of audio channels from Top 40 hits to Hindi hits. A dedicated channel for children is also available!

Fiji Airways doesn't currently offer WIFI onboard its flights. The airline did have WIFI onboard its Boeing 737 MAX 8s, however, has not installed a WIFI network on any of its other aircraft since the 737 MAX 8 has been grounded.
All Fiji Airways flights will include meals in the price of the ticket. In Economy Class, passengers can expect two meals on longer flights to USA and Hong Kong, or on shorter flights either a snack or a hot meal, depending on the duration of the flight. Passengers in Business Class can enjoy a fine dining experience crafted by chefs, consisting of three courses and including a selection of cheeses.
Fiji Airways state that they can cater to special dietary requirements for religious, dietary or medical needs, such as vegan meal, Halal meal, gluten-free meal or Kosher meal. Some special meals can be booked online during the booking process, but Fiji Airways recommends that passengers contact them directly to organise a special meal for your flight.
Fiji Airways serves a full drinks service to their passengers, including alcoholic, non-alcoholic, hot and cold beverages. Passengers in Business Class can enjoy some local Fiji Rum cocktails and mocktails, and passengers in all classes will have meals accompanies by some international wines and beer.
Tabua Club is the Frequent Flyer Program for Tabua Club, where passengers can earn rewards for travelling with Fiji Airways.
Members of Tabua Club are entitled to priority phone reservations, premium check-in at the Business Class counter, priority tagged baggage, additional baggage allowance, access to the Tabua Lounge in Nadi International Airport and upgrade credits that can be redeemed for a Business Class upgrade.

Nadi International Airport is the main airport for the Fiji Islands and the South Pacific Islands and is the hub airport for Fiji Airways. The airport facilitates flights from airlines flying around Oceania, as well as to Asia and parts of North America. The airport has one terminal building and two runways.
Fiji Airways is the only airline that uses Nadi International as a hub. However, other airlines which fly to and from the airport include Aircalin, Air Kiribati, Air New Zealand, Air Niugini, Jetstar Airways, Korean Air, Nauru Airlines, Solomon Airlines and Virgin Australia.
