About Flybaboo

Flybaboo - also known as Baboo - was a regional airline based in Switzerland at Geneva Airport. The airline was founded by a man named Julian Cook in 2003 and the first flight was flown in the same year just 3 months later. Flybaboo acquired a number of aircraft, including Dash 8 Q-400s and Embraer E-190s to fly the regional routes and had a fleet totalling 7 aircraft. Previous to its demise in 2010, Flybaboo had reported a turnover of 73m Swiss Francs, equivalent to 82m dollars. In noviembre 2010 it was announced that Darwin Airline was to take over from Flybaboo in early 2011.

As of 2011, Baboo operated flights to destinations across France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. Terminated destinations included the United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, and Greece among others.

Tarifas de clase

As Flybaboo was a regional airline, it's likely that there was only 1 cabin class onboard a Flybaboo flight as the planes don't allow for separate classes.

Codeshare Agreements

Flybaboo had codeshare agreements with multiple airlines. These included Air France, Alitalia, Olympic Air and TAROM.

When Flybaboo were operating regional flights, they flew their routes with a total of 7 aircraft. These aircraft were a mix of Bombardier and Embraer (Dash 8 Q-300, ERJ135 and 190s).

Aeropuerto Principal

The hub airport for Flybaboo was Geneva Airport located in Switzerland. The airport - also known as Cointrin Airport - is the international airport of the city and sees over 15 million passengers through its doors each year. The airport is now a hub for both easyJet Switzerland, L'odyssey and Swiss International Airlines. Geneva Airport is situated on the French-Swiss border and therefore can be accessed by both countries looking to fly internationally.
