Freebird Airlines Europe is a charter airline, based in Malta. It is a subsidiary of Freebird Airlines (parent company: Gözen Holding), a Turkish charter airline. Established in 2000, Freebird Airlines operates in Europe and Middle East, providing services including private charters, flight crew training, and cargo transport. Freebird Airlines Europe was established in 2018, after Freebird Airlines gained a new Air operator's certificate for a new subsidiary.
Freebird Airlines Europe operates a single aircraft: an Airbus A320-200, which has a capacity of 180 passengers. The airline is based at Malta Airport.
As well as operating flights under its own brand, Freebird Airlines Europe also operates flights on behalf of tour operator TUI Travel, flying to Greek and Spanish islands.

Freebird Airlines Europe has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage.
Passenger's complimentary carry-on baggage on Freebird Airlines Europe flights will be outlined during the booking process. The baggage allowance will differ, as some flights are operated on behalf of other airlines, including Tui Travel.
The checked baggage allowance will be detailed during the booking process, at which point it will also be possible to add additional baggage to the booking. It is also possible to add additional baggage to your booking during the booking process.
There is a single cabin class available: Standard Economy.
The airline provides a bright, modern, and comfortable cabin. The aircraft is equipped with W/C facilities. Light meals, snacks and hot or cold drinks are available to purchase during the flight. In-flights duty-free shopping is also available.
Passengers can sit back and relax in comfortable seating, which features armrests and adjustable lighting and air conditioning. Seats are configured in a 3-3 formation.
Passengers flying with Freebird Airlines Europe must check-in for their flight once at the airport.
The airline does not currently offer an online check-in option.
Passengers will need to complete check-in at the airport before departure. Passengers are encouraged to arrive as early as possible, usually about 2 hours prior to schedule departure.
Passengers can purchase in-flight snacks and light meals, as well as hot and cold drinks, during the flight. The airline will accept cash and card.

Malta International Airport (MLA) is the only airport in Malta, so serves all of the Maltese Islands. The airport has a single passenger terminal. Malta International Airport is located on the main island on Malta, just southwest of the capital, Valletta. The airport serves as the main hub for two airlines: Air Malta and Medavi. It is also a base for Ryanair, and its subsidiary Malta Air. Other airlines to operate from the airport include: Alitalia, Vueling, Turkish Airlines, and British Airways.

Freebird Airlines Europe has established a new base at Cologne/Bonn, from where it has plans to fly to islands in Greece and Spain by the summer of 2021.
The charter carrier also has plans to connect Cologne/Bonn with the Greek islands of Kos Hippocrates and Rhodes with a twice weekly service. As well as the Greek Islands, Freebird Airlines Europe also has plans to fly by the summer of 2021 to the Canary Islands of Fuerteventura, Las Palmas, and Tenerife Sur. Then from September, the airline also hopes to start flying from Cologne-Bonn to Hurghada, in Egypt.
