Ghana partners with EgyptAir to launch new flag carrier

The government of Ghana has partnered with EgyptAir to re-establish the new Ghanaian flag carrier, following the signing of A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Ghana in 2018 had signed a similar MoU with Ethiopian Airlines. However, the deal was held back due to disagreement over key points of discussion, including routes and funding.

The new airline will be operating from its headquarter in Accra, providing a network of routes throughout Ghana and elsewhere within Africa, as well as North and South America.
