Green Africa Airways is a Nigerian airline that is based at Lagos Muhammed International Airport (LOS). The airline launched in agosto 2021, it received its air traffic license from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority in early 2016 and later received its Air Service License in mayo 2018.
In diciembre 2018, Green Africa Airways signed an order with Boeing for 100 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Green Africa Airways plans to offer flights within Nigeria and then later expanding to the entire African continent. Green Africa Airways' CEO, Babawande Afolabi, is hoping to build a world-class airline to increase air travel opportunities for Nigerian passengers.
The Nigerian airline serves destinations domestically and has plans to expand and service across the African continent.

Green Africa Airways is only offering domestic Nigerian flights to seven destinations including Abuja, Akure, Enugu, Ilorin, Lagos, Owerri and Port Harcourt.

Carry-on baggage allowance for all fare-paying passengers is 7kg and a personal item such as a backpack, a purse or a laptop. Items onboard the aircraft must not exceed 55cm x 40cm x 24cm.
Passengers must make sure that their carry-on baggage doesn't contain any prohibited items including any fluid exceeding 100ml and items contain fluid must be placed in a plastic bag for security check.
Checked baggage allowance depends on the ticket purchased by the passenger. gSaver passengers can have checked baggage with a fee.
Classic passengers are entitled to 15kg checked baggage.
Flex passengers receives 20kg checked baggage.
Passengers travelling with infants have an excess of 5kg checked baggage.
Baggage exceeding 32kg cannot be transported as checked baggage and it would be treated as cargo. As of junio 2020, excess baggage can only be added at the airport.
Online check-in has yet to become available. However, the airline will be launching online check-in soon.
When online check-in become available, passengers will be able to check-in between seven days to two hours before the scheduled departure time.
Airport check-in counters open two hours before the scheduled departure time and the check-in deadline is stated on the booking confirmation.
Passengers must check-in before the check-in deadline or the airline may cancel the booking. Passengers must also board the aircraft 30 minutes before the established departure time.
Green Africa Airways fares are divided into three categories including Saver Classic and Flex.
Saver passengers will only receive a free carry-on baggage.
Classic passengers are entitled to a free carry-on baggage and a 15kg checked baggage and a free standard seat.
Flex passengers get a free carry-on baggage and a 20kg checked baggage and a free seat across all seat zones.
As of septiembre 2021, the airline has a total 3 aricraft with 153 on order.
Green Africa Airways is based at Murtala Muhammed International Airport which is an airport located in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. It receives around seven million passengers a year.
