Green Africa Airways is an emerging Nigerian airline that will be based at Lagos Muhammed International Airport. The airline has yet to take to the skies but is set to commence flights in 2021. The airline first received its air traffic license from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority in early 2016. It later received its Air Service License in mayo 2018.

Green Africa Airways plans to offer flights within Nigeria and then later expanding to the entire African continent. The Nigerian airline recently confirmed they will commence operations with 50 new Airbus A220 aircraft — which was the largest order for this aircraft type.
