Ibom Air has resumed flights at Lagos Airport after the airport cancelled flights all flights from all airlines for five consecutive days. The reason that Lagos Airport had cancelled all flights was due to the harmattan haze that left all airlines unable to fly within the area due to dusty conditions.
However, on Sunday 16 febrero, Lagos Airport re-opened to allow all airlines to resume flights. Ibom Air will now resume its daily scheduled flights to Lagos, flying from Abuja and Uyo.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority recently released a report that revealed that a total of 80,875 flights were operated in Nigeria last year. In total, there were 42 airlines that flew routes in, out and within Nigeria. One of the nine domestic airlines that flew within the country was Ibom Air. The report showed that Ibom Air flew 2,472 flights in Nigeria last year. This is particularly impressive as the airline only serves a total of three destinations and didn't take launch until mid-2019, meaning that all of its flights took place in the second half of the year.
Ibom Air's 2,472 flights account for 3% of all Nigerian flights in 2019.
