Ita Linhas Aereas is a Brazilian airline, with plans to launch in marzo 2021.
Since Avianca Brazil ceased operations in 2019, the Brazilian air market has had three leading carriers, with room for another, larger carrier - Ita Linhas Aereas hopes to be that carrier.
The airline is being established by Brazilian bus company Itapemirim, which has been operating since 1953 and is the largest bus company in South America.
The airline will begin operations using its fleet of ten Airbus A320. Its bases will be at Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasilia, and is currently in negotiations with the city of Vitória to use it as a hub.

A confirmed list of destinations has yet to be announced. However, the airline has stated that it plans to compete on popular routes and flights between capitals. It is known that the airline plans on operating in Brasilia, Sao Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro.
As the airline is in an early stage of startup, it has yet to announce what the baggage allowance will be for passengers.

The airline has yet to publish an announcement regarding recommended check-in times. However, in most instances it is recommended that passengers arrive as early as possible, usually about 2 hours before scheduled departure.
The airline hopes to commence operations in marzo 2021, so in the following months it can be expected that more information regarding the on-board experience, including the aircraft’s configuration, the number of seats, the class fares (Economy, Premium, and/or Business, for example), and the pricing will be announced.
Ita Linhas Aereas plans to launch with a fleet of ten Airbus A320, a popular narrow-body aircraft which is used around the world for domestic and short to medium-haul international flights. The airline also hopes to grow the fleet to 50 A320 by 2022.
Linhas Aereas is currently negotiating to use Vitória Goiabeiras as its primary hub, although this has yet to be agreed. Vitória is the capital of the state of Espírito Santo. It’s served by its airport, Eurico de Aguiar Salles Airport, which is otherwise known as Vitória-Goiabeiras. The airport handles domestic flights. Currently, there are three other airlines which fly to the airport: LATAM Brasil, Gol Transportes Aéreos, and Azul Brazilian Airlines.
