Jasmin Airways is a Tunisian start-up carrier, planning to commence operations in the summer of 2019.
Jasmin Airways was founded by Tunisian businessman, Hassan Amaidia. The airline is currently expected to secure its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC), and launch by late April, via a pair of dry-leased Egyptian E170s.
The carrier is set to launch charter services from Enfidha Hammamet International Airport.
Although unconfirmed by the airline, Jasmin is expected to start by dry-leasing two Egyptian E170s.
Routes and destinations have yet to be confirmed, however, the carrier is expected to fly between secondary Tunisian cities and resort towns.
Although unconfirmed, Jasmin Airways is also expected to fly internationally, connecting Tunisia to destinations around the Mediterranean and Europe as a whole.
Enfidha–Hammamet International Airport is an airport in Enfidha, Tunisia, located about 40 kilometres (25 miles) southwest from the town of Hammamet. The airport is mostly used by European airlines bringing travellers to Tunisian holiday resorts. Airlines that fly to Enfidha-Hammamt include Tui, Thomas Cook Airlines, Smartwings Poland, Corendon Dutch Airlines, and Azur Air.
