About Jetconnect
Jetconnect (Jetconnect Ltd.) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas, and was originally established in July 2002 as a New Zealand-based airline. However, in 2018 the company ceased operating as an airline.
Today, the company still hires pilots and cabin crew, who are employed by Jetconnect to operate Qantas flights on trans-tasman services between Australia and New Zealand. Jetconnect has its head office in Auckland, in New Zealand, and employs staff at Auckland and Wellington airports.

Destinations
When the company was first established as an airline, Jetconnect operated domestic services within New Zealand. Domestic services included routes between Auckland, Wellington, Rotorua, Christchurch and Queenstown. However, in 2009 these domestic services were taken over by Jetstar Airways, which is another Qantas Group subsidiary airline.
Jetconnect then began operating the trans-tasman services between New Zealand and Australia under the Qantas brand.
Today, the airline no longer operates as an airline, although it does still employ pilots and cabin crew to operate the trans-tasman services for Qantas. Jetconnect’s pilots and cabin crew operate the majority of Qantas-marketed flights between cities in New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, and Queenstown) and following destinations in Australia: Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
