How to get to Kansas City International Airport
By Road
Many companies provide taxicab services at Kansas City International Airport. If you need a taxi, go outside of the baggage claim area. There are drop-off and pick-up areas at the terminals and short and long-stay multi-storey car parks you can use to park your car at a cost. Taxis are metered, and reservations are not required as of diciembre 2018, the starting fare costs $2.50 plus $2.10 per mile. It takes around 23 minutes from the airport to Kansas City by taxi.
By Public Transport
There are many city buses stopping at the airport Metro Bus Route 129 Boardwalk/KCI has a daily bus service as of diciembre 2018 one-way fare costs $1.50, by cash, change card or bus pass. In addition to this shuttle services are available on-airport and off-airport. It takes around 1 hour from the airport to Kansas City by bus.
