By driving
Rental cars and parking are available at the airport.
The Rent-A-Car Center is situated at 7135 Gilespie Street and can easily be accessed from interstates 15 and 215 and the Las Vegas strip. There are regular shuttle buses that will take you between the Rent-A-Car Center and terminals 1 and 3.
Short and long term parking is available at both terminals and is open 24/7.
By taxi
You cannot flag down taxis in the street. So, you must pre-order a taxi with a reputable company beforehand. Here is a list of taxi number recommended from Las Vegas McCarran International's official website with link to each individual company's website:
- A Cab
- Yellow Checker Star
- Deluxe Taxicab Service
- Desert Cab Company
- Nellis Cab Company
- Whittlesea Blue Cab
Alternatively, you can arrange for the person(s) in charge of your accommodation to order a taxi for you.
By RTC bus
The RTC public bus system offers two different routes that travel to the airport from popular destinations within Las Vegas.
The Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) route travels to both airport terminals from Downtown Las Vegas, Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.
The RTC Centennial Express (CX) travels to Terminal 3 of Las Vegas McCarran International from Downtown Las Vegas, Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain.
There are free shuttles between the airport terminals that you can use if your bus doesn't stop at the terminal that you're departing from.
By shuttle bus
Shuttles might be available to the airport from your hotel if you're staying in a Las Vegas strip hotel or a Downtown Las Vegas hotel. These are sometimes free, however, will only leave when full, so it can be unreliable if you're travelling on short time.
