Founded in 2015, Libyan Wings is a Libyan airline that flies a small number of international flights from its hub at Mitiga International Airport. The airline currently flies to destinations in Turkey and Tunisia with a fleet of Airbus aircraft.
The airline was originally proposed to launch in 2013, but due to the civil war in Libya, the airline's launch was delayed for two years. Eventually, the airline flew its inaugural flight in septiembre 2015 with service from Tripoli to Istanbul.
The airline's fleet consists of entirely Airbus A319-100 aircraft. Each aircraft has the capacity to carry 124 passengers each.
