LAG is a Gabonese airline based in Libreville that was founded in 2005. The airline offers a mix of both domestic and regional services to destinations in neighbouring countries including the Cameroons, Equatorial Guinea and São Tomé and Príncipe. LAG initially aimed to help connect the region better through its hub at Leon-Mba international airport while embracing technology and using e-ticketing facilities on domestic services. The airline uses 2 aircraft types depending on the route flown with the Beech 1900D used for short domestic hops and the Fokker 70 on higher demand international services.
As of febrero 2022, LAG currently operates to domestic Gabonese cities as well as international destinations such as:
|Cameroon||Douala||MD-Douala International Airport|
|Guinea Ecuatorial||Bata||Bata Airport|
|Gabon||Franceville||M'Vengue El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba International Airport|
|Libreville||Léon-Mba International Airport|
|Port-Gentil||Port-Gentil International Airport|
|São Tomé and Príncipe||São Tomé and Príncipe||São Tomé International Airport|
All passengers travelling with LAG are permitted to bring 1 item of cabin baggage onboard with them. However, this must not exceed 56x45x25 cm in diameter and should not weigh more than 10 kg.
You are also entitled to bring 1 checked bag as well as the complimentary hand luggage. However, the weight allowance depends on the route travelled. If travelling domestically within Gabon then you are allowed to bring a case weighing 20 kg. On services to international destinations within the Cameroons, Equatorial Guinea and São Tomé and Príncipe then this allowance increased to a generous 30 kg. However, please be aware that on all flights the size requirements of all checked bags should be within a combined dimension of 158 cm (height x width x depth).
LAG offers an online check-in facility. Once you input your reservation number and passenger name you will be able to manage your booking and check-in.
If you choose not to check-in online before arriving at the airport then you can head to one of the airline's check-in desks to do so. The airline doesn't state the opening and closing times of their check-in facilities, however, we recommend arriving at the airport no later than 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure.
Onboard both of the airline's aircraft types an all-economy product has been installed. On the Beech aircraft, this is laid out as a 1x1 across and on the larger Fokker jet this is 2x3 across. All seats on both aircraft types are plush and comfortable leather seats which can help you relax onboard. However, the seats don't come with any USB ports or person seatback entertainment screens, it is also currently unsure if complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided.
Lignes Aeriennes Gabonaises has chosen not to install inflight entertainment screens or Wifi facilities onboard their aircraft. A magazine or newspaper may be provided, however, we recommend bringing your own.
LAG doesn't specify whether they offer complimentary drinks or snacks on their flights regardless of if it is a domestic or international service.
Currently, LAG doesn't offer a frequent flyer program for you to subscribe to.
The airline is not a constituent member of any airline alliance.
LAG currently operates a dual aircraft fleet, with the Beech 1900D utilised for shorter and fewer demand services and the larger Fokker 70 for international destinations.
