Lübeck Air is a German virtual airline offering both charter and scheduled services from Lübeck Airport. Scheduled flights are operated by their Danish partner Alsie Express. The airline was founded in 2020, but because of COVID-19, the operation date delayed to agosto 2020, operating just domestic German flights.
The airline doesn't own a fleet of aircraft but their flights are often flown by ATR72s. Not only have they got a good connection with Air Alsie, they are also a close partner with Lübeck Airport.

As of enero 2022, Lübeck Air operates scheduled flights to 16 destinations including Lubeck, Munich and Stuttgart, Ibiza, Dublin and more. The airline also operates charter flights on an executive jet for corporate clients, and this can be booked via the airline website.

Passengers are entitled to carry-on luggage not exceeding 8kg (17lbs) in weight and 55cm x 40cm x 23cm (21" x 15" x 9"). This carry-on baggage must fit the overhead locker or under the seat.
Tickets from Lübeck Air already included one or two pieces of checked baggage not heavier than 23kg (50lbs) each. At Lübeck Air, fares are divided into 3 classes, Silber, Gold and Diamant. All three classes have the option to travel with one carry-on baggage and one checked baggage, it all has the flexibility to rebook with a fee.
Silber: Cancellation and name change are not permitted
Gold: Passengers can cancel their flights or change name with a fee applied
Diamant: All benefits above included as well as lounge access
Online check-in is available via the airline website. It opens 24 hours before the scheduled departure time regardless of the location of the departing airport. Passengers would need to enter their ticket reference and their passport details when checking in online.
Passengers would be able to obtain their boarding pass from checking in online, passengers can proceed straight to security when arriving at the airport if no checked baggage needs to be transported.
At Lübeck Blankensee Airport, check-in counters open 90 minutes before departure and close 30 minutes before departure. Passengers are advised to check-in 60 minutes before departure time at other airports. Any passenger check-in late may risk losing their seat and may have to pay for a late-fee to the airline.

Lübeck Blankensee Airport (LBC) is an airport situated 8km from the centre of Lübeck. The airport went a period of bankruptcy between 2014 and marzo 2016 and it was accommodating low-cost airlines before that period. Until enero 2020, the airport decided to launch its own airline Lübeck Air. Hence, Lübeck Air is the only airline operating at the airport.
The airport consists of one runway and a small passenger terminal, suitable for Airbus A320s, ATR72 and general aviation aircraft.
