About Madison Dane County Regional Airport
Madison Dane County Regional Airport (IATA: MSN) also known as Truax Field, is a civil-military airport that serves more than 1.8 million passengers each year. The airport opened in the early to mid-90s and serves cities within the United States. The airport has an area of 3,500 acres and owns three runways.
In terms of passengers served, the airport is the 2nd busiest out of eight commercial airports in Wisconsin.

How to get to Madison Dane County Regional Airport
By Road
A number of taxi companies offer taxicab services at the airport. If you need a taxi, simply follow the signs leading to the ground transportation area outside of Door 7, at the north end of the baggage claim area. It takes only 14 minutes to downtown Madison by taxi.
By Public Transport
You can take a Metro Route 20 – North Transfer Point bus to downtown Madison and the UW campus area. Departures are every 30 minutes on weekdays and hourly on the weekends and holidays.
By Rental Car
You can rent from a range of cars from car hire companies. The airport has onsite car rental desks available near the door 6 of the baggage claim area. Many companies offer these services such as Alamo, Avis, Enterprise, Hertz and National.
