Myway Airlines Hub Airport

Tbilisi International Airport

MyWay Airlines airport hub is Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport (TBS), which is the main international airport in Georgia, located southeast of the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. The airport was built in 1952 with just one terminal. By 1981 Tbilisi International Airport became the 12th largest airport in the Soviet Union, with around 1.5 million passengers flying from Tbilisi to other countries within the Soviet Union each year. In 1990, the airport built a second terminal, however, despite the extra space an opportunity for more flights, the airport's yearly passenger traffic lowered to 230,000 people. Tbilisi International Airport's passenger growth rose again through the 2000's, the airline enjoyed a particular rise in growth between 2009 and 2016 when the airport's passenger traffic grew from around 730,000 people per year to 2.2 million people per year.

MyWay Airlines came to an agreement with Tbilisi International Airport upon its creation for the airport to serve MyWay as the airline's hub. MyWay Airlines flew its first ever flight from Tbilisi International Airport with a service to Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) on 3 abril 2018.

Other airlines that fly to and from Tbilisi Interntional Airport include SkyUp, Qeshm Air, Pobeda, Jazeera Airways, Israir Airlines, Ellinair, Belavia, Wings of Lebanon, YanAir and previously Saratov Airlines before they ceased operations.
