Baggage Policy

North Wright Airways operates a different baggage policy depending on the type of baggage you're travelling with.

Carry-on & Checked Baggage

Each passenger can bring 2 bags, that weigh a total of 60 pounds combined. Extra baggage or baggage which weighs more will be classed as excess and fees will be applied. Please note that all baggage will need to be stowed by staff to ensure safety procedures are met.

Excess baggage can be added to the booking during the booking process or contact our customer service team for more information.

Flying with Animals

If travelling with an animal, passengers are asked to contact our customer service team before booking to ensure this will be possible. Contacting the airline will need to be done at least 24 hours prior to travelling to ensure space is available.

Cabin Classes

There are no class fares as the cabin is outfitted with standard seating, with only one ticket fare available.

What are seats like?

Enjoy comfortable seating, with stunning views of Canada. Due to the aircraft size, most seats are by the window, giving the passenger a wonderful scenery outside the window.

All passengers must check-in at the airport with valid photographic identification to verify the passenger's details.

Passengers are required to check-in at least 1 hour before the flight departs. Passengers who fail to arrive before this time will be denied boarding. In the case of weather delays, North-Wright Airways will transfer passengers to the next available flight.

Passengers are advised to report to airport check-in counters as soon as they arrive at the airport and should always ensure they have their travel documents ready.

Special Services

The airline can provide a number of special services for those with disabilities or requiring additional assistance. North-Wright Airways will strive to meet your needs, but due to the configuration of the aircraft there may be restrictions. It is advised to contact our customer service team before you book, or at least 48 hours before departure, to avoid disappointment.

As of abril 2021, the airline’s scheduled service network is domestic and serves the communities of Yellowknife, Deline, Tulita, Norman Wells, Fort Good Hope, Colville Lake, Aklavik, and Inuvik. Most of the flights are seasonal and subject to weather conditions.
