Founded in 1965, Northwestern Air is a domestic Canadian airline that offers scheduled passenger flights to destinations in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. The airline is based at Forst Smith Airport and operates over 100 flights per week.
Northwestern Air originally launched as an aircraft leasing company. In 1984, the airline began operating scheduled passenger services and has since expanded its route network to nearly 10 different destinations within Canada.
