Ontario International Airport (IATA: ONT) formerly know as Ontario Municipal Airport, is an international airport that serves 5.1 million passengers each year. The airport opened in 1923 and serves 19 destinations in the United States, Mexico and Taiwan. The airport has an area of 1,741 acres and owns two runways which run parallel to each other. It is the third major airport in the area after Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and John Wayne Airport (SNA). The airport is located between Los Angeles and San Bernardino, about 38 miles (61 km) east of Downtown Los Angeles and 23 miles (37 km) west of Downtown San Bernardino.

Ontario International Airport is the primary hub for USP Airlines. Southwest Airlines in 2018 carried almost 57% of the airport's departing passengers. Daily the airport has 64 departures and arrivals.

Terminal 2 has 265,000 square feet and 12 gates numbering from 201 to 212. Terminal 2 is used by the following airlines: Alaska Airlines, China Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue Airways, United Airlines, and Volaris airlines.

Terminal 2

Terminal 4 has 265,000 square feet and 14 gates numbered from 401 to 414. The only two airlines in terminal 4 are American Airlines and Southwest Airlines.

How to get to Ontario International Airport

By Road
