Passengers are entitled to one carry-on baggage not exceeding 13lbs in weight and 12" x 16" x 10" in three dimensions. In addition to that, passenger can bring a personal item onboard. This could be a purse, a bag, a camera, etc.

Free baggage allowance is available for passengers who booked with fare Charlie. The free baggage allowance includes one piece of checked baggage no heavier than 50lbs (23kg) and the sum of three dimensions cannot exceed 62". Any baggage exceeding the weight and/ or size allowance would be charged a fee.

Any passenger wishes to book excess baggage can do so in the booking process when booking with Alternative Airlines. Please note that fare Alpha and Bravo must buy excess baggage if travelling wish to travel with a checked baggage.

Despite the fare class offering the least flexibility, it offers the lowest price out of the three fare classes. Bags are not included in the ticket, it is non-refundable and the name change would be charged with a fee.

Fare Bravo are non-refundable just like fare Alpha, but it offers some flexibility on name or date change. This fare class offers the middle-priced fare out of the three.

Fare Charlie passengers receive one checked baggage to the fare. It also offers full flexibility to passenger including full-refund, name and date change.

Check-in online is available via the airline website. Online check-in opens 24 hours before and two hours before the scheduled departure time.

When checking in online, please prepare your ticket details and passport details. Boarding Pass would be obtained once online check-in is completed.

Passengers are advised to check-in online to avoid long queues at the airport. However, passengers travelling with infants, with more than ten passengers on one booking or with reduced mobility must check-in at the airport.

When arriving at the airport, please locate the airline check-in area according to the airport information board. There should be a designated check-in area at the airport with the airline logo clearly marked on the check-in desk. Please seek any guidance from the airport staff if unsure.

At Alternative Airlines, we recommend passengers to arrive at the airport two hours before your flight to avoid any unexpected delays. Any passengers who are late for check-in would be considered as 'no-show' and the seat may be sold to any standby passengers. Valid photographic identification is also required to verify the passenger's identity. This can be a driving license, passport or birth certificate.
