Alternative Airlines has announced a new partnership with Lounge Pass, allowing customers to purchase airport lounge passes from around the world when booking flights.
Alternative Airlines, a global flight booking website, has announced a new partnership with Lounge Pass, a market-leading airport lounge provider. This exciting news means customers can now quickly and conveniently pre-purchase airport lounge passes when booking their flights up to 24hrs prior to the visit date, all through Alternative Airlines’ easy-to-use platform.
No matter which class of travel, or whether the flight is outbound or return, customers booking flights on any of the 600+ global airlines available through Alternativeairlines.com can now also purchase guaranteed passes to over 600 lounges in over 100 countries around the world.
In the UK alone, passengers can pre-book access to over 45 lounges — such as the popular Club Aspire lounges at London Gatwick and Heathrow (image below)— and then end their holiday on a high by booking a lounge for the return journey, at one of 555+ lounges in the rest of the world.
In the US, passengers can pre-book access to over 30 lounges — such as the popular Primeclass Lounge at New York JFK Airport — and then end their holiday on a high by booking a lounge for the return journey, at one of over 570 lounges in the rest of the world.
Passes are also available for the world’s most popular international airports, with destinations including Paris, New York, Berlin, Miami, Hong Kong, Orlando, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Washington, Toronto and Zurich. Those flying from Dubai International in the UAE can enjoy the height of luxury at the Ahlan Lounge at B, a flagship lounge with contemporary design, stellar service and lavish furnishing. For passengers departing from Singapore, the SATS Premier Lounge at Singapore Changi is a modern sanctuary with all the facilities one might require, including private workstations, showers, and bar.
Speaking of the new partnership, Andy Besant, Director of Travel Experiences at Collinson, the operator of Lounge Pass commented: “Alternative Airlines’ customers can now enjoy the premium travel benefits provided by Lounge Pass. Our aim is to enhance the airport experience, allowing passengers to escape the busy terminal and relax in a tranquil environment. A lounge pass is ideal for the business or leisure traveller, who wants to add an affordable touch of luxury to their journey.”
What’s more—and perhaps the most exciting prospect for customers—is the wide range of payment options provided by Alternative Airlines. Customers can add flights and airport lounges to their basket, then checkout using a number of popular finance payment plans available on the site. There’s no need to pay up-front - customers can select to spread the cost with PayPal Credit, or delay their payment with a plan using Klarna.
Speaking of the announcement, Sam Argyle, Managing Director at Alternative Airlines, commented: “Relaxing in an airport lounge before flying is one of life’s little luxuries and now, through Alternative Airlines, doing so has never been more affordable. Alternative Airlines is all about making the travel experience as seamless and easy as possible. We’ve built our platform with a focus on empowering our customers to take control, to book exactly what they want, how they want. Partnering with Lounge Pass is the next step in providing more convenience for customers, and we are incredibly excited.”
As well as choosing from over 600 airlines, from all the largest names to smaller regional carriers around the world, Alternative Airlines’ customers can choose from over 25 international payment methods, including PayPal, as well as over 160 localised currencies.
This new partnership comes as Alternative Airlines continues to take innovative strides to provide more convenience and choice for its customers. Airport lounges will soon be joined by e-Visas as an ancillary product which can also be purchased when booking flights.
