Perth Airport (IATA code: PER) is an international airport serving Perth, the capital and largest city of Western Australia.

Since 1997, PER has been operated by Perth Airport Pty Limited, a private company.

Perth Airport is served by 34 scheduled airlines flying to over 50 destinations in Australia, Oceania, Asia, Africa and Europe.

PER acts as a hub for a number of airlines, including Qantas, Skippers Aviation, and Virgin Australia. It is also a focus city for Jetstar Airways and Virgin Australia.

Location

 

The airport is located about 10 km (6.2 mi) east of the Perth central business district. PER falls within the boundaries of three cities: the City of Belmont, City of Kalamunda and the City of Swan.

Business Facilities: Printing, faxing, and copying, $3 per page

Family Services: Private parenting rooms and children's play area available

Showers: Available for a fee.

Additional: Luggage lockers available for a fee. Observation deck and public viewing area available. 

 

 

Lounges Include:

Qantas Club: There are four Qantas Club locations at Perth Airport: an International Business Lounge in Terminal 1, an International Transit Lounge in Terminal 3, a Domestic Business Lounge in Terminal 4, and a Qantas Club in Terminal 4. Expect beverages, newspapers/magazines, photocopying facilities, telephone access, WiFi, workstations, and showers (Domestic only). 

Virgin Australia Lounge: There are two Virgin Australia Lounge locations at Perth Airport, one in Terminal 1 and one in Terminal 2. Enjoy beverages, snacks, meals, mobile charging, newspapers/magazines, photocopying/printing/fax facilities, telephone access, WiFi, workstations, TV, and showers.

Air New Zealand Lounge: Located in the International Terminal, Airside. Enjoy beverages, flight monitors, showers, TV, WiFi, newspapers and magazines.

Emirates Business Lounge: Located in Terminal 1, Airside. Free benefits include workstations, TVs, beverages/snacks, comfortable seating, flight monitors, newspapers and magazines. 

Runways

 

There are two runways. The main 03/21 runway measures 3,444 m × 45 m (11,299 ft × 148 ft), and the second runway, 06/24, measures2,163 m × 45 m (7,096 ft × 148 ft).

Terminals

 

The airport has four four terminals separated into two precincts (T1/T2 and T3/T4).

There is a free 24-hour shuttle bus service that connects the precincts and terminals.

To the east of the airport:

Terminal 1 (T1) is the international terminal, with five jetways and eight gates. There are four airline lounges: the Emirates lounge; Singapore Airlines Silver Kris lounge; the Air New Zealand Lounge and Qantas Captains Club.

Terminal 2 (T2) is immediately south west of the T1. Virgin Australia AND Regional and Alliance moved to T2 in 2013, followed by Tiger in 2013. Regional Express Airlines also uses T2 for its services to Esperance and Albany.

To the west of the airport:

Terminal 3 (T3) has nine gates and is currently used by Jetstar, although some Qantas services also operate from the terminal.

Terminal 4 (T4) is operated by the Qantas Group and is dedicated to the domestic operations of Qantas, QantasLink, and the budget subsidiary of Qantas: Jetstar. The terminal has four jetways and a total of nine gates.

How to get to Perth Airport (PER)

 

By Bus

Transperth operates a regular bus service, connecting Perth airport with Perth City and other key local locations.

Airport Shuttle

CONNECT Airport Shuttle provides a shuttle service between Perth Airport and five locations in central Perth: East Perth train station, WA Museum on Beaufort Street, Wellington Street, the Kings Perth Hotel and The Ambassador Hotel, Adelaide Terrace. The airport's CONNECT shuttle stop is just a short walk of T3 and T4, and is accessible from T1 and T2 via the free airport terminals shuttle.

Rental Car

Car rental counters are located on the ground floor of T1, T2, T3 and T4. Agencies that operate onsite include: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Redspot and Thrifty.
