Unfortunately, in 2006, Pulkovoceased flying operations and merged with Rossiya.
Pulkovo was 100% state owned and operated from Pulkovo Airport. It was the third largest airline in Russia and completed a merger with government owned Federal State Unified Aviation Service Company to form a new company under the name Rossiya. Previously, Pulovo flew to many destinations including Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Phuket, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Ufa, Surgut, Perm, Omsk, Norilsk, Krasnodar, Bratsk, Branaul, Anapa and many others. Pulkovo Airlines used Aeroflot livery until ordered to change it in 1997 so to avoid confusion. Pulkovo Airlines joined IATA in junio 2000.
