About Red Air

Red Air is a proposed Dominican Republic airline based Las Américas International Airport in Punta Caucedo. The airline is planning to operate routes to the US and has filed to the Department of Transport (DoT) for approval. Red Air has yet to confirm the routes they're flying to but has been approved to operate flights to Tampa. They also have the intention to service Miami.

Red Air will be servicing these routes using a fleet of narrowbody aircraft, McDonnell Douglas DC-9.

Red Air hasn't released its baggage allowance information.

Generally, your carry-on baggage must fit within the overhead lockers and under the seat and it must weigh less than the airline's weight allowance. Any items that exceed the limits must be transported as checked baggage due to health and safety reasons.

All items onboard must pass airport security checks before boarding the aircraft. Prohibited items will be confiscated including any fluid exceeding 100ml.

Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) is an international airport located in Punta Caucedo, the Dominican Republic. The airport is one of the busiest airports in the country by passenger numbers, accommodating more than 3.5 million passengers per year before the pandemic.

Two passenger terminals and a runway is being utilised to accommodate the airlines that operate to the airport. This includes, but not limited to, Air Antilles, Air Caraibes, Air France, American Airlines, Avior Airlines, Avianca, Copa Airlines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue, Spirit Airlines and United Airlines.
