Renegade Air is a scheduled airline based at Wilson Airport in Nairobi, Kenya. As well as scheduled services, it also offers charter services and ACMI services to customers.

The airline operates scheduled flights domestically within Kenya, flying to: Wajir, the Masai Mara, Lamu, Malindi and Amboseli, from Nairobi Wilson Airport.

Services are operated with a fleet of Fokker 50, Cessna Caravan, Dash 8-100 Dash 8-200 and Dash 8-300, with a seating capacity of 8-50 passengers.

Baggage Policy

Renegade Air has a different baggage policy for carry and checked baggage. Renegade Air passengers are allowed to bring 1 personal item free of charge.

Carry-on baggage can include a personal item including a camera, a laptop or a purse.

Some passengers are entitled to one piece of free 20kg checked baggage and it shouldn't exceed the total permitted dimension. Any baggage weighing over 20kg is subject to pay a small fee and the airline will only accept baggage up to 32kg because of health and safety regulations.

What are seats like?

Seats are configured in a 2-2 formation. There is plenty of storage space in the overhead containers. Passengers can sit comfortable, and enjoy eating their snacks using the fold-down trays provided. The cabin is clean and bright, with flight attendants on-hand and ready to help.

Facilities

Passengers can purchase a selection of snacks and drinks onboard. An onboard snack menu is available for passengers who wish to get refreshments onboard. Snacks include a range of sweet and savoury snacks.

The cabin is fully equipped with W/C facilities available.

Renegade Air passengers must check in at the airport.

Online Check-in

Web check-in isn't available for passengers, so all passengers must check-in at the airport.

Passengers should always arrive at the airport early to avoid any unexpected delays and miss the check-in deadline.

Other destinations: Airport check-in counters close 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.

Passengers must comply with the check-in deadline or the airline may deny late passengers to board. At Alternative Airlines, we advise passengers to arrive at the airport two hours before the scheduled departure time and should report to the airport check-in counters as soon as they arrive at the airport.

Passengers should present their valid travel document including passport, ID card, birth certificate or other valid photographic identifications to verify the passenger's identity.

It's only 18km from the other airport in the area, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
