Royal Air Maroc, which is commonly known as 'RAM', is the largest airline in Morocco. The airline was founded in julio 1953, as a result of a merger of Air Maroc and Air Atlas. The airline is headquartered at Casablanca-Anfa Airport, near the Moroccan city of Casablanca, but its primary hub airport is Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport.
RAM operates both medium-haul and long-haul flights and flies to over 100 destinations worldwide, including countries in Europe, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East. It's also a great airline for flying within the Maghreb which includes countries located in Northeast Africa.

Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport is the HUB for Royal Air Maroc, as well as it is for Jetairfly and Air Arabia Maroc. It is the busiest airport in the country and handles nearly 8 million passengers every year. It was named after King Mohammed the V of Morocco who passed away in 1961.

Royal Air Maroc launching more routes connecting Morocco with France and Spain
Royal Air Maroc recently announced it will be expanding its network by launching two new routes connecting Marrakech with Paris and Seville with Tangier and Casablanca. The route between Marrakech and Paris will begin from 31 octubre and will occur three times a week. The other new route between Tangier and Casablanca with Sevilla will take place from 4 diciembre and will operate twice a week. These new routes will meet the demand of Spanish, French and Moroccan tourists as well as Moroccans residing in Spain and France.

Royal Air Maroc and Emirates launch codeshare partnership
Royal Air Maroc and Emirates have successfully launched their new codeshare partnership, providing more travel options and connection choices for travellers using both airlines to commute between Dubai and Casablanca. Emirates customers will be able to fly to 17 destinations in Morocco besides Casablanca. Royal Air Maroc flyers will be able to extend their network beyond Dubai to over 130 destinations across the globe.
The airline has models such as the ATR 72-600, Boeing 737, Boeing 787 and Embraer 190 within its fleet.
