You can take up to one carry-on baggage for free as long as it weighs less than 10kg / 22lbs and doesn't exceed the linear dimension (L x W x H) of 115cm / 45in. Laptops and tablets are free to bring on board.

The standard allowance for checked baggage on Royal Air Maroc flights is as follows: the weight per bag should not exceed 32kg / 70lbs and the linear dimension per bag should not exceed 203cm / 79in. You can take 1 to 3 pieces of checked baggage depending on the fare type you have purchased.

On medium-haul Business Class flights, you'll receive a welcome drink that will be served once you have boarded. During your trip, a short film will be shown on the main screen, or choose from the selection of Moroccan magazines. Royal Air Maroc serves a meal on flights lasting more than two and a half hours, a meal served on fine bone china.

With long-haul flights, you'll get a complimentary pillow, blanket, and toiletry bag. These seats can be adjusted into a "bed" position, while the outer shell of your seat gives you the privacy to sleep without being disturbed. There is also a "massage" function which you can try whenever you so desire throughout the flight.

On medium-haul flights, you can make yourself comfortable with Royal Air Maroc's recliner seats; you will find USB ports to charge your phones and notebooks, electrical outlets to plug in your computer, and a reading lamp to create an atmosphere conducive to concentration.

Business Class Lounge Access

Business passengers have full use of Royal Air Maroc lounges, to relax in comfort before boarding. The VIP lounge at Casablanca Mohamed V airport is the airline's premium lounge for passengers departing from Morocco. The lounge includes work desks (laptop access), couches, TVs, complimentary snacks, drinks and light meals, WiFi and internet connection, newspapers/magazines, and flight monitors and information.

For both economy and business passengers, meals are served on all RAM flights lasting more than two and a half hours. On flights lasting less than two and a half hours, a hot snack will be served. Lunch or dinner consists of an hors d'oeuvre and a gourmet salad, followed by a hot dish and dessert.

A selection of cheese, pastries and fresh fruit are provided to business passengers, who will receive their food served on fine porcelain china.

When booking your ticket through Alternative Airlines, you are given the option to select your ‘Meal Preference’. If you would like to order a special meal after making your booking, you can contact our customer service team, who will make a request on your behalf.

Requests for a special meal on Royal Air Maroc flights can be made up to 48 hours before scheduled departure.

A selection of Moroccan and French wines and various alcoholic and soft drinks, will also be offered, followed by tea/coffee after the main meal.

Royal Air Maroc online check-in is available through the Royal Air Maroc online check-in page. Online check-in is available from 48 hours up until two hours before scheduled flight departure time on most, but not all RAM flights.

Domestic flights: Airport check-in closes 60 minutes before scheduled flight departure time on domestic flights.

International flights: Airport check-in time opens two hours before scheduled flight departure time on international flights, and is extended to three hours before scheduled departure time during peak periods, such as school holidays and other public holidays. Airport check-in can be completed by visiting the Royal Air Maroc check-in agents at the airport of departure. Check-in closes 60 minutes before departure time.

Royal Air Maroc operates a frequent flyer program called the Safar Flyer program designed to reward passengers for flying with Royal Air Maroc flights and partners. Miles with Safar Flyer program can be converted into premium plane tickets, upgrades to business class, excess baggage and change costs. Miles with Safar Flyer program can be collected/used with Iberia, Etihad and Qatar airlines.

Safar Flyer Benefits

The International VIP Lounge at the Casablanca Mohammed V Casablanca-Nouaceur Airport is available to passengers holding a Business Class ticket or Safar Flyer Gold, Ambassador or Silver Loyalty Card. Gold or Silver card holders can also use the priority check-in desks when presenting the Safar card.

Collect Safar Flyer Points

The fee for babies (under 2 years of age) is 10% of the accompanying adult rate. Seats can be reserved for babies for the same price as a child’s (2-12) ticket.

Children accompanied by an adult aged between the ages of 2 and 12 years are subject to a discount on the adult rate - the reduction depends on the destination and the applied rate. Passengers can transport a stroller at no extra charge, which is allowed in the cabin but subject to space availability.

All children travelling on Royal Air Maroc are given complimentary items for entertainment, including crayons, colouring sheets and games.

RAM allows passengers to travel with pets. It is important to confirm details before making your booking, as the airline’s policies are subject to change. But as a summary, pets (dogs, cats, birds) are allowed in the cabin if the maximum weight is 5kg including a carrier.

Pets are also allowed in the cabin if certain requirements are met and the weight of the animal in its container is less than 75Kg. Note that pets in the cabin and in the hold are not accepted on flights to the UK. Passengers must indicate when they book their flights that they wish to travel with their pets.

Both Economy and Business passengers can enjoy personal video screens providing an on-demand (VOD) system, giving passengers access to the latest blockbusters, movie classics, popular TV, movies, and a number of games. The geo-vision system on the personal TV screen provides information on the progress of the flight in real time, including flight path, local time, temperature, and cruising speed.

Medium-Haul Entertainment

All passengers can enjoy a programme of short movies, comedy videos, cartoons, etc which are available on the cabin-mounted screens. The onboard geo-vision system will present flight information in real-time, including flight path, local time, temperature, and cruising speed.

Royal Air Maroc's Wi-Fi service called is called Wi-Fi On Stream, which is a limited internet service that allows passengers to access and stream films, music, and games.
