About Salt Spring Air
Salt Spring Air (also referred to as Saltspring Air) was a Canadian airline operating services across British Colombia. The airline used a fleet of de Havilland Beaver water aircraft for services between Vancouver and the Gulf islands. Salt Spring Air was headquartered in Saltspring Island, British Columbia.
In noviembre 2015, Salt Spring was purchased by the Harbour Air Seaplanes Group. Salt Spring Air operated under the Harbour Air Seaplanes livery with the Salt Spring Air name. This merger made the Harbour Air Seaplanes Group the largest all-seaplane airline in the world, combining the fleets of Salt Spring Air, Harbour Air Seaplanes, West Coast Air, and Whistler Air.
